STEPping Out

South Middle School students may be "stepping out" of the confines of the classroom, but they certainly aren't leaving learning behind! This edutravel trip will no doubt be one for the history books: a historic inauguration, famous monuments and museums, new modes of transportation (subway, charter bus), and junior reporter/media experiences as we gather documentation for our sister school and the BBC! Whew---Can you feel the excitement?

    Ronnie Gribbins II's family is missing you like crazy. It's about time you called. We are glad that your phone is just dead and nothing has happened to you or anyone else. South Middle School students this is a trip you will remember for the rest of your life....enjoy the rest of it. We will see everyone Saturday evening. I can't wait.

    Kasia McClure's granny is looking at the pictures and figures that the students at South Middle School are lucky to have had the opportunity to have witnessed this historical event and the wonderful, beautiful sights of D.C. Thanks to the staff for keeping out kids safe, warm, and happy. Thanks to the students and staff for representing South Middle School at our nations capital. We are proud and have a safe return home.
