STEPping Out

South Middle School students may be "stepping out" of the confines of the classroom, but they certainly aren't leaving learning behind! This edutravel trip will no doubt be one for the history books: a historic inauguration, famous monuments and museums, new modes of transportation (subway, charter bus), and junior reporter/media experiences as we gather documentation for our sister school and the BBC! Whew---Can you feel the excitement?

Purpose

This blog has been developed so parents, administrators, and friends can follow the South Middle School Presidential Inaugural Trip of 2009. The South Middle School Traveling Education Program (S.T.E.P) has been attending presidential inaugurations since President Reagan! We are especially excited to be attending this historic event!
